Cannonball Adderley Quintet Live in 1966
While this album is listed as by Joe Zawinul, in reality it's another Cannonball Adderley live album from his most fertile period when Zawinul was the pianist in the Quintet. A few of the tunes are Zawinul compositions, and while the performances are good, the recording quality is a bit unbalanced at times. Most of these tunes are available on other Adderley live albums, and while some of the soloing (especially Zawinul on Del Sasser) is inspired, this really is just an album for Adderley completists.
