Timeless...
This was the album that announced to the world that George Michael had grown up. His writing had never been better. The songs had never been stronger. "Praying For Time" was a strong opener and the words are as relevant today as they were then. Maybe more. Then comes "Freedom" What an epic piece! Only to be followed by the mesmerising "They Wont Go When I Go" which is a showcase for Georges immaculate vocals. Full of stand out songs like "Waiting For The Day" and "Mothers Pride" (an anti war classic) this hasn't aged badly at all. 25 years on George Michael still stands out as one of the most important singers and song writers of our generation. Absolute must for your collection. Buy it
