For any and all folk music lovers, here's one worthy of a listen.
Lief's exact phrasing and sumptuous accompaniment beautifully complement his voice and bring a lot of depth to these simple songs.
There's plenty of variety here as you might expect from a lyricist like Vollebekk whose talents for writing touch every experience.
Mastering quality is good and works nicely with the overall tone of his music to give it a small-room kind of soundstage.
I'm eagerly watching for his newest release coming February of 2017.
