This is the first of two albums by Glass Animals and it's a class act. Very cool & laid back tunes with the voice of the lead singer, Dave Bayley floating over & through the dreamy lush melodies. This has sold over half a million copies and had over 200 million streams on spotify alone. All from word of mouth. Although they have their own unique sound (thanks mainly to very distinctive drums) there are some similarities to Portishead, Morcheeba & Hooverphonic. Great sound and perfect to chill to. Treat yourself to some relaxing upbeat music to get you through the festive mayhem. Top tracks for me are "Flip", "Black Mambo", "Pools", "Gooey", "Hazey" & "Toes".
If you're looking for something smooth & chilled then I would say that you'll find yourself putting this on repeat.
