Big, bigger, KISS!
"Love Gun" could be called the most balanced KISS-Classic. There are "bigger than big" Arena Rock Songs like "I Stole Your Love" and the title track. There are simple and catchy Rock and Roll tunes like "Christine Sixteen" or "Tomorrow and Tonight". There are more experimental cues like "Almost Human" or "Plaster Caster" and "Hooligan". There is "And Then She Kissed Me", a funny coverversion of a Ronettes success. And there is Ace Frehley's vocal debut "Shock Me". The whole album is not longer than 45 minutes, but there is so much action and alternation on it, other bands would need two double albums for. Unfortunately it's also the last KISS studio album, which presents the band originally. Step by step the distance between the members grew constantly...
