Excelente
Interesante interpretación de estas sinfonías de Haydn a cargo de The Hanover Band, bajo la dirección de Roy Goodman. La orquesta toca con instrumentos originales de la época y criterios históricos interpretativos, cosa que da un sonido más auténtico a la grabación. Roy Goodman, a diferencia de otros directores, opta por poner clave en el bajo continuo (que el mismo toca), práctica histórica perfectamente válida todavía en la música del Clasiscismo y que refuerza el bajo continuo. Destaca la buena sonoridad de los instrumentos de época, destacando especialmente los instrumentos de metal. Es una lástima que la discográfica no apostara por completar el proyecto de grabación de las sinfonías completas de Haydn. Este es el CD1 de la serie.
