Fuera de estilo
El grupo Gabrieli Consort & Players es extraordinario. Interpretan música barroca con instrumentos originales y criterios históricos, bajo una muy buena dirección a cargo de Paul McCreesh. Lo bueno de este disco es precisamente la orquesta porque Rolando Villazón canta totalmente fuera del estilo barroco. Al oir su voz parece estar cantando arias de Bellini o Verdi y se trata de Handel! a veces los experimentos de intentar aproximar grandes nombres de la lírica a la música antigua no funcionan y este es un buen ejemplo.
