A pesar de que Les Arts Florissants es un gran grupo especializado en música barroca, este disco no le rinde homenaje: en ciertos puntos se oye a la orquesta desafinada (como en el inicio del Te Deum) y el coro no suena compacto. Versiones de grupos ingleses como The King's Consort o The Sixteen son infinitamente superiores a esta versión, en donde William Christie no parece tener la inspiración creativa de otras grabaciones.
