Η τετάρτη κυκλοφορία του συγκροτήματος, που ενώ έχουν γνωρίσει την καθολική αναγνώριση (κοινού και μουσικών) δεν έχουν τις αναμενόμενες πωλήσεις. Πρόκειται για ένα από τα πιο ιδιαίτερα συγκροτήματα της indie σκηνής, και το κύριο χαρακτηριστικό τους είναι ότι στο ηχητικό τους "χαρμάνι" περιλαμβάνεται ότι μπορεί να φανταστεί κανείς, πάντοτε όμως δοσμένο με στυλ. Αν και σε αυτό το album φαίνεται ότι προσπαθούν να συνδυάσουν τη "τρέλα" του ''Thunder, Lightning, Strike'' με τη πιο συμβατική pop του ''Rolling Blackouts''. Τα φωνητικά εξακολουθούν να είναι σε πρώτο πλάνο, αλλά πλέον η μουσική φλερτάρει και με soul και funk στοιχεία.
Με το ''The Scene Between'' οι Go! Team μπορεί να μην εντυπωσιάζουν, αυτό όμως δεν μας εμποδίζει από το να αναγνωρίσουμε ότι το συγκρότημα από το Brighton ηχογράφησε ακόμα έναν όμορφο και ιδιαίτερο δίσκο.
