Solid Debut
The thing that most surprises me about liking Jess Glynne is that her type of music isn't really my thing. The fact is though that I think she is an excellent new artist with a strong and soulful voice. At times I can hear a touch of Amy Winehouse about her and I think that further down the line she may well drift away from dance music and try a more soulful and jazzy type album. Anyhow, this first album from Jess features all of the hits including the ridiculously catchy "Hold My Hand" and shows she can handle a slow number as well when she needs to. The collaborations are great and by and large this is a decent effort and I think she could be around for quite a while. This album will sell many thousands and will end up at number one. Well worth a listen & adding to your collection. Recommended
