Great radio songs...
As someone who resiliently listens to their own weird tastes and (you might say pedantically) values art over mass appeal, I was kinda worried about what Claire had been saying about this album. I loved "Realiti" but I wasn't sure I'd like 14 Grimes anthems as much as I liked dreamy Grimes. Thankfully, I decided I was wrong after a few listens.
Some of the most likely songs to top charts and feature in clubs: "Flesh Without Blood", "Kill V. Maim" and "Venus Fly" are addictive and enthusiastic and nowhere near generic. Though a couple of songs are a little forgettable, the album is very strong on the whole. Each song does something different with its mix of pop and experimental influences.
I'm gonna be singing this stuff in the shower for a while. Well worth a listen.
