Another Classic
What makes Adele special is her roots in the classic diva tradition, the quality of the song craftsmanship, that incredible voice and. yes, the multi-generational appeal. Because, unlike some other current superstars, parents don't profess to secretly like this music. This is for the ages and they are all in. I don't know how Adele pulled this off, because she had gone entirely off the grid. The video for Hello was directed in complete secrecy so as not to create any advanced buzz. But I know a classic when I hear one and this is it. No question that this will be a monster. If she does a supporting tour, this thing will go off the charts. Nobody can take away the contribution of music this good. We need that in the world right now.There isn't a single track on the album I think is weaker than the others, "When We Were Young", "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" & "Million Years Ago" are personal favourites and the mighty "Hello" of course. Highly recommended.
