Helmut Lachenmann - Works For String Quartet {Arditti String Quartet} Reviews
A must listen work
One of the greatest living composers in European music scene produced through his life three compositions for string quartet, here collected in a unique album played by the Arditti String Quartet, a string quartet famous for it's playing aleatory compositions by John Cage and Morton Feldman. The result of this encounter is a faithful to the original interpretation, with sounds and effects less scenically than more recent productions and for that reason nearer to the original Intentions of Lachenmann. A must listen work.
