Good 2nd album
I floated between 3 & 4 out of 5 for this as I love many things about it but not enough to go overboard about it. The writing skills are evident and her voice is so pure and ear catching that I have to forgive a few blemishes. The production is fine but with the equipment available nowadays it should be top notch. Whoever did it needs to go on a refresher course in producing! Lucy's singing keeps you listening though. Her songs are deceivingly catchy. You don't realise how they worm their way into your ears and travel down to your toes. Give it a few listens and you'll adore her too. Top tracks for me are "For You", "Work It Out", "Sheffield", "Our Eyes", "Nebraska" & "Köln"
I like the way the deluxe edition has an entirely new track order too rather than just throwing some extras onto the end.
A real grower and highly recommended.
