Jr. Walker, All Stars — Live: Reviews
Give Us More....
As far as I can research, this is the only Jr. Walker "live" album available, and that is a shame because his live shows were great. This is a very short set (8 tunes) and a Vol. 2 from the same era would be greatly appreciated. Walker gets an audience moving, and while I wouldn't mind a few more hits, the tunes he picked here are all great. Walker knew how to get an audience moving and belts his tunes out with his sax and a voice that was not the strongest at Motown, but definitely a great R&B voice that knew had to get it all out there.
