Retro Vibe 80's influence

15.07.2016 by Tom Howard (See all user reviews)

I first heard this bands E.P. White Light after seeing them on Later with Jools and I was hooked by the 80's influence synth led musical vibe that they had along with the velvet voice of the singer Alexandra Denton. There is a nod to the 80's of course but there is a real talent here with great lyrics and a uniqueness in her style that marries the old and the new seamlessly. There is also a nice mix of dance grooves and slower more introspective numbers.
My favourite songs from a strong selection is "Touch", "Indecision", "Tongue Tied", "2Shy" and "White Light"
Synth lovers should make sure they don't miss this one!
Highly recommended. Buy it now!
