A Welcome Return
Pink has been away for over 5 years to concentrate on being a mum and it's good to hear some artists have got their priorities right. Saying that it's great to have her back in the charts with this release. It's full of the heart felt writings we are accustomed to but a little bit of the anger has been replaced with some nostalgia which shows Pink to be maturing along with the rest of us (with a few exceptions).
The more I listen to this the more it grows on me and I love that. I've long been aware that an instant hit can become tiresome very quickly so I'm enjoying the growth of this as I become familiar with the songs.
Favourites so far are "Beautiful Trauma", "What About Us", "Barbies", "Secrets", "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken" & "You Get My Love"
As good as ever but with a maturity that's good to hear.
Highly recommended.
A Class act
Pink is a huge musical talent and a very exciting performer. She has a reality and an edginess that comes through in her music. I loved this album - it contains two memorable songs What About Us and Beautiful Trauma - which is not to say that the rest of the album is not great. It is. The quality shines through
