Lovely Lloyd
This new release from the excellent Lloyd Cole is less acoustic than his usual material and heading more towards the electronic genre but the quality is up there with his best work.
I'm not sure how he manages to keep the quality so high but he does it time after time. If you are an old fan I can't see the electronic direction phasing you as these songs are reminiscent of his Commotions days. The only negative is a minor one. At 8 tracks I'd have liked at least another 2 songs but that's my only gripe. An excellent collection of finely produced songs by my old favourite, Lloyd
Highly recommended.
