Nineteen Minutes of Escapism
An interesting addition to the JB recoded legacy, this version of the Hot Pants LP has a nineteen minute version of Escapism that really cooks. It's an LP of JB vamping with the band, and while there's an unedited version of Hot Pants that expands upon the hit single, it's the only thing on the album that resembles a fully realized song. And then, it really was only realized when it was edit down to a 2:30 single version. So yes, the album is fun, but it's not classic JB and only fills a small hole in his legacy. But if you want to dance, you might have fun here. And yes, Can't Stand It makes about it's 6th or 7th appearance on a JB album.
