Great album by Killers frontman
This is the first of two solo albums by the frontman from The Killers. Brandon Flowers never steers himself too far away from the formula that works so well with his band. Although it's slightly verging on the more 'cheesy' at times it's still an album of strong songs all in all. It's obviously a homage to his home town and why not?
The strongest songs for me are "Only The Young", "Jilted Lovers & Broken Hearts", "Magdalena", "Swallow It" and "Jacksonville"
I think it's worth mentioning also that this is the deluxe edition. Tracks 1-10 are the original release and tracks 11-14 are bonus tracks (which stand shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the album)
Highly recommended.
