Brilliant
This was The Clash's second album and you can hear how the song writing is getting better. The production isn't brilliant but the energy of the songs just leaps out at you and slaps you on the face. English Civil War & Tommy Gun was blasting out of every British teenage boys bedrooms in the late 70's. All these years on & the energy is as evident as it was when it was originally released.
Punk gods with a punk classic.
Highly recommended.
