Οi Dead Can Dance (οι νεκροι μπορουν να χορευουν ) ειναι ενα συγχρονο μουσικο γυγκροτημα που ιδρυθηκε το 1981 απο τους Lisa Gerrard(κοντραλτο)και τον Brendan Perry(βαρυτονο)στην Μελβουρνη της Αυστραλιας.Το ονομα τους ειναι εμπνευσμενο απο το κομματι της κλασικης μουσικης Dance Macabre ,κι ενα ποιημα το death in a cadence,λογοπαιγνιο με τον ορο decadence(παρακμη).Αυτο το αλμπουμ του 1996 ειναι το τελευταιο τους πριν διαλυθουν για πρωτη φορα.Εχει ενα ιδιαιτερο εκλεκτικο μουσικο υφος δυσκολο να ταξινομηθει,και αγαπηθηκε απο τους φιλους τους.Μεταγενεστερα κυκλοφορησαν αλμπουμ τους,αλλα ειναι με παλια τραγουδια τους,που ηχογραφησαν οι εταιρειες τους.
