Well ahead of its 1985 production!
This is a curious cd.If they had produced it today instead of 1985 [!] it would be rather fantastic.The idea is to combine operatic music with modern day songs.On most tracks it works very well although the opera is more pronounced than the pop/rock elements in the songs.Ingrid Bjornov,the main singer has a powerful,correct and pleasant voice which does justice to both operatic and rock parts of the cd.You can tell by her singing the aria of The Queen of the Night.
The orchestrations have an air of the 80s [listen to the drums] but at times they are excellent and imaginative.Most of The Beatles Mix is very well done and keeps the listener's interest throughout as you wait to hear which Beatles songs they have integrated in the track.
All in all this record is very worth listening to and due to low price,downloading too.
