So Beautiful!!! He is Blessed!
What a beautiful debut album! I did not know Jason Gould could sing but here, in this short album, he has finally stepped out of the shadows of Mom and showed us what he can really do. He sings like his mother, with emotion and depth. I do NOT have any info on this album as I just downloaded it and I am pleasantly surprised with how he covered Leon Russell's "This Masquerade" and Nat King Cole would be very proud of how he covered "Nature Boy." The other three songs "Morning Prayer," "Hello" and "How Deep Is The Ocean" are equally crafted with texture, depth and the whole album made me feel that this man NEEDS to be with that perfect "somebody." Another thing is that Mom is NOT on this album but after almost 46 years of being her son he did not need one iota of help from her. I gave this a five star for it's attention to detail and his careful preparation, knowing that it is his first time getting his feet wet with his musical genes. My only regret is that it was too brief. Hopefully Jason won't keep us waiting too long for a longer follow up album. Well done, Jason! btw I did not know he wrote "Morning Prayer"--lovely.
