Μετά το εξαιρετικό "Psychedelic lollipop" το 1967 οι Blues Magoos ηχογραφούν το "Εlectric comic book".H ψυχεδελική-garage punk φόρμουλα ακολουθείται κι εδώ με απόλυτη επιτυχία.Αν και δεν έβγαλε κάποιο χιτ σινγκλ,ο δίσκος έχει κομμάτια που ενθουσιάζουν τον ακροατή όπως τα :"Pipe dream","Life is just a cher o'bowlies","Summer is the man","Baby i want you", "There's a chance we can make it" και"Rush hour".Δείχνοντας το χιούμορ που τους χαρακτηρίζει κλείνουν το δίσκο(12 τραγούδια)με το "That's all folks"μια παρωδία του γνωστού 60'ς καρτούν "Looney tunes".
Η ευχάριστη έκπληξη είναι ότι στη remastered έκδοση εκτός από την πολύ καλή ποιότητα ήχου υπάρχουν συνολικά 23 τραγούδια,ανάμεσα σ'αυτά το δυσεύρετο ιστορικό πρώτο σινγκλ που έβγαλαν οι Blues Magoos το:"So i'm wrong and you are right/ The people had no faces".
