Van Morrison — Moondance: Reviews
The best VM
The debate will always rage on about which VM album is the best, and I choose to pick the five best rather than attempting to crown a king. Moondance is a perfect album and hits that VM top five list. It's a joy to listen to anytime you put it in play, and some of VM's best writing is reflected in the tunes. There are expanded versions of this album available, but the endless takes and 'work in progress' tracks totally dilute the pleasure of this record. Stick with these 10 perfect tracks and enjoy this record over and over again. A true classic album that deserves all the accolades it's received and more.
